“hypochondriac” is about my own personal experiences with anti-depressants and overthinking. The song was born out of my attempt to quit my medication, which led to negative withdrawal symptoms and an identity crisis. I began questioning whether I could ever fully come off the medication and feel “happy” or if I had to keep relying on something that become my crutch. The song is not only for those who may be struggling with the same experiences, but also for those who might be depending on something/someone for a source of happiness.

“hypochondriac”는 항우울제와 과도한 생각에 대한 저의 개인적인 경험을 바탕으로 한 곡입니다. 이 노래는 제가 약을 끊으려 했던 시도에서 비롯되었으며, 그로 인해 금단 증상과 정체성 위기가 발생했습니다. 저는 과연 약을 완전히 끊고 “행복”을 느낄 수 있을지, 아니면 나의 의지가 되어버린 무언가에 계속 의존해야 하는지에 대한 질문을 던지기 시작했습니다. 이 곡은 같은 경험을 겪고 있는 사람들뿐만 아니라, 행복의 원천을 무언가나 누군가에게 의지하고 있는 사람들에게도 전하고자 합니다.
