인어공주 이야기에서 영감을 받아 탄생한 곡입니다.
더 이상 목소리를 잃지 않고, 스스로를 지키는
독립적이고 진취적인 인어공주를 상상하며 이 노래를 썼습니다.
Mermaid is the first single released under my new name, Josi Young,
after leaving behind my former identity as nijuu.
Inspired by The Little Mermaid,
I reimagined her as an independent and self-protecting figure—
a mermaid who no longer gives up her voice,
but learns to stand on her own.
