네덜란드 출신의 재즈 트럼페터 이자 작곡가인 Joep van Rhijn이 한국의 대표 재즈 피아니스트 조윤성과 듀오로 선보이는 깊이 있는 음악적 대화. 저널리즘에서는 사실과 허구를 구분하는 일이 중요하지만, 음악에서는 그 모호함이 오히려 예술적 아름다움으로 승화된다. 이 앨범은 Joep van Rhijn의 풍부한 음악적 감수성과 조윤성의 탁월한 감각이 어우러져, 명확한 표현과 자유로운 해석 사이에서 청중이 상상의 날개를 펼칠 수 있는 여백을 만들어 낸다 회전목마를 타던 즐거움, 해돋이를 보던 감동, 새로운 모험을 떠나는 설렘까지 — 기억과 감성이 담긴 멜로디가 깊은 울림을 전한다.
Music is a very abstract form of communication in which musicians create stories together and share them with the listeners. The discussion about fact and fiction in journalism is very serious and important, but in music the tension between fact and fiction makes it magical. This album is a search for a balance between transparency and clarity in music while leaving space for the listener’s imagination. On this album there are stories of memories from the past and the feelings connected to those experiences. Such as the feeling of riding a carousel, watching the sunrise or going on an adventure.
